Just as we discovered in the Wisdom section that the source of our true power and passion lies deep within our own hearts, we next find that the limitless source of energy to keep us going through any adversity or challenge we may encounter is love, the most powerful energy in the universe. Why limitless energy?  Because the more you send out into your environment, the more comes back to you. 

But there's also another factor which almost no one seems to have focused on.  The majority of our human emotions (anger, sadness, anxiety, fear, etc.) originate from the ego and its survival concerns.  The soul, however, is relatively free of emotion with two major exceptions - unconditional love and joy or bliss. 

This isn't just a bunch of theory, but comes from clinical observation of multiple personality clients where the shattered personality allows us to view more clearly what the components of the psyche are and what functions each performs.

Normally most people are heavily identified and aligned with the ego and its needs. Love moves us back into alignment with our soul and consequently with our true purpose.  Love and joy are the two indications that we are coming from soul and not ego.

For those that may still be skeptics, I came across some interesting additional scientific confirmation of the incredible power of love in a recent article I read. 

"All life forms have electromagnetic fields that can be measured by scientific instruments...Scientists now know that the heart space has the highest amount of energy flow in the body. The bio-magnetic field around the heart is about 1 million times as strong as the one around the brain (the brain and the palms of the hands are the next highest producers/points of energy in the body)."

We express love through our relationships and we receive untold blessings in return when we do so. In fact, every worthwhile experience, lesson, and new idea I've ever had was the result of a relationship I had with another person.  The greatest gift of life lies in the diversity of other people and our relationships with them - the channel through which we express our love.
