Good health is perhaps our most important asset. No matter what level of success we manage to achieve in other areas of our life, a serious health problem can quickly take us right back to square one, putting enormous strain on our relationships, depleting our financial resources and leaving us too depressed, exhausted or in pain to enjoy any of our hard-won successes.

In spite of the fact that we're all aware of this, though, and spend billions of dollars annually trying to lose weight, get our vitamins or the prescription medicines we've been told we need, etc., the results have been horribly disappointing. And each year it seems the percentage of people being hit with major illnesses continues to rise, despite all the latest "breakthroughs" and "miracles". A qiuck glance at just a few of the recent facts will confirm this.

The Facts are Frightening!

Facts:

  • 86% of deaths among seniors are the result of preventable disease and only 14% of those people die of old age.
  • Infectious diseases are on the rise, even in hospitals.
  • "Smart Bugs" are now resistant to many antibiotics, due to drug overuse.
  • Once thought of as defeated, diseases like polio, tuberculosis, gonorrhea, meningitis, etc. are coming back, resistant to present drugs.
  • Cures for cancer are not happening....WHY?...prevention is the best remedy for cancer.
  • Cancer used to be a disease associated with old age, but today cancer is striking at people of all ages, even babies.
  • One in three men over 50 years of age will contract prostate cancer... every 15 minutes a male dies of prostate cancer.
  • One in eight women will have breast cancer....every 10 minutes a female dies of breast cancer.
  • Heart disease and stroke are still the main causes of death with cancer rating a close second, but it is on the way to becoming #1

  • Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and MS are afflicting people at alarming rates.
And these are just some of the concerns.  AIDS, hepatitis, chronic fatique, ADD, excess weight, asthma, migraines ... the list seems endless.  If you have battled with a serious health issue, had a loved one afflicted, or merely wish to do what you can to avoid such an experience, the REAL questions are . . .

Why Is This Happening?
and
What Can You Do About It?

Before we can embark on any intelligent program to reclaim or protect our health, we need at least a basic understanding of the factors causing the problem, and currently there are a bunch of them. The last 200 years of "progress" haven't come without a price tag. So....

How Did We Get Here?

Something that intrigued me from a very young age was exactly how we manage to get sick and get old. Science told us every cell in our body was replaced every year or two and even our skeletal structure was replaced every seven years, so we should be staying pretty much at our peak you would think.

Something didn't add up here or was going very wrong. But what?

Most of us are aware of the "modern" issues, like air pollution, ozone depletion, polluted water, acid rain, soil depletion, heavy metals and toxic industrial waste materials. The truth is that nature did indeed provide us with everything we need to stay active and vital well past 100 years of age... until we went and made a mess of nature.

Researchers have documented that with the discovery of a number of isolated remote cultures that were in fact enjoying vital prolonged life spans. So, although I feel that the "jury is still out" on whether they ever successfully isolated some magical key to those culture's longevity, I think we can safely agree that our toxic environment is a major contributor to our current health epidemic. A glimpse at the extent of just one aspect of this issue is pretty disheartening - here's some details on our soil depletion.

  • U.S. Senate Document #264 states, “99% of the American people are deficient in minerals and deficiency in any one of the more important minerals actually results in disease.”
  • Anarem Report states, out of 21,500 individuals, “not a single individual consumed 100% of the 10 most needed nutrients in the body.”
Going a step further, one long-time supplier of nutritional supplements decided to conduct their own investigation of the extent of this problem. They went shopping and purchased all of the fresh fruits and vegetables in the government's food pyramid, which is supposed to represent the perfect diet. Then they put them in a blender and took them to a commercial laboratory for analysis. Here's what they found

Of the few that are still present at all, the amounts are so low that, just to get your minimum daily requirements, you'd have to eat about

  • 13 pounds for calcium
  • 10 pounds for iron
  • 9 pounds for zinc
  • 7 pounds for phosphorous
Now you might actually manage to pull that off with "concentrated food", i.e. fresh friut and vegetable juices, which I concluded years ago were probably the sanest way to supplement my diet. Some suppliers or nutritional supplements have begun formulating products from the sea as a solution (like we haven't polluted the ocean too).

But...when you factor in how many of us have addictions and bad habits (fast food, sugar, coffee, alcohol, etc.) that actually deplete these elements, and how many are completely missing from our food now, it's not hard to buy the governments claim above that "99% of the American people are deficient in minerals".

That's the tip of the iceberg. Most of us are at least somewhat aware of this aspect of the problem. Now let's look at one of the lesser known aspects that may be tripping us up in our efforts to stay healthy.

The discoveries of quantum physics have been telling us for a while now that we are basically energy systems. People in the East have long been operating with this concept, but I first ran across it years ago when one researcher discovered that we pick up on the energy around us. He discovered that, for instance, meditating while hooked up to a solution containing vitamin C had the same effect as taking the vitamin C internally. In effect, you could accomplish the same thing by sitting there holding a glass of the stuff as you could by actually drinking it. Hmmmm...

Some other research has shown that you can run your water through a purification unit that removes all the heavy metals and toxins and ... guess what?  The water still retains the energetic imprint of that stuff. Hmmmm...

Sounds at liittle "out there", doesn't it? Yet we've all heard of laser surgery and treating cancer with radiation. When you begin to see the ramifications here, you begin to realize that we've not only subjected ourselves to the obvious soil, air and water pollution. We've added cell phones, microwaves, computers, televisions, etc. to bombard our energy fields, with perhaps even greater consequences.

This all starts to sound a little like a hopeless situation, so now we need to look at:
