Most of us have probably heard that meditation is good for stress, but meditating does more than just feel good and calm you down. It makes you perform better. And it alters the structure of your brain! One study found that meditating actually increases the thickness of the cortex in areas involved in attention and sensory processing. The finding is in line with studies showing that accomplished musicians, athletes and linguists all have thickening in relevant areas of the brain cortex.
While these side benefits are great, they’re kinda like using a cannon to kill a mosquito.
The real purpose of meditation has always been to attain “enlightenment”, to connect with our true self and our inner guidance, to experience “oneness” with all and reach the highest attainable states of consciousness.
In some of Ken Wilber’s writings, he put forth the view that the highest states were only attainable through certain meditation techniques. Some other approaches and therapies
worked fine at earlier stages of development, but then became useless at the next higher stage. So if you really want to “go for the gold”, meditation may be the best option.
The big challenge has been how to get there without spending 30 years on a mountaintop.

How is Instant Advanced Meditation different than “mindfulness,” or “mantras,” or “bare attention,” (or any other practice)… and how does it deliver these results so easily and quickly?
Well, I could tell you the answer, but I’d think the best answer is to let you experience it yourself. Go to the link above and get free downloads of two of these meditations and see what you experience.
